Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva

Supporting aerial cinematography on Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy epic for Dharma Productions, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.

Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva is the first film in Ayan Mukerji’s Astraverse, produced by Dharma Productions and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. It released in cinemas on 9 September 2022.

I worked as a supporting aerial cinematographer, part of the aerial team providing drone coverage for a production built on scale. Working on a feature of this size is a different discipline from a web series: every flight sits inside a schedule of hundreds of people, and every shot has to match a look that was designed long before the camera arrived.
